Boy Scout Troop 6
Cincinnati, Ohio since 1915
Mondays 7:00pm at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church

ABOUT OUR TROOP
With Scouts ranging from 6th grade through high school, from many Cincinnati area schools (Walnut Hills, St. Xavier, Clark Montessori, and others), our troop continues in the tradition of exciting Scout adventures. We meet weekly to plan upcoming trips, work on individual Rank advancement and Merit Badge activities. Our leaders are experienced, dedicated and were Scouts as well. We always look forward to new Scouts joining our troop, continuing the learning cycle that gives the older Scouts a chance to lead and teach what they know to the younger ones, as one day they will be mentors themselves.

OUR TROOP HISTORY AND EAGLE LEGACY
Our troop is the oldest continuous troop in the Cincinnati area, established in 1915. We have a long, storied history of achievement and adventure, with eighty scouts becoming Eagle Scouts dating back to 1931. No matter what level a Scout achieves, he will take with him lessons that will carry him throughout life. It’s a great experience to build upon!

TROOP TRIPS AND EVENTS
Our troop participates in exciting annual trips, Scout camps and local events, as well as high adventure trips like:
- BOY SCOUT SUMMER CAMP
- BIANNUAL PETERLOON CAMPOUT
- BOY SCOUT MERIT BADGE CHALLENGE
- ANNUAL TURKEY CAMPOUT
- SKI DAY
- ANNUAL TROOP PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER
- PHILMONT RANCH (NEW MEXICO)
- MANISTEE RIVER (MICHIGAN)
- BOUNDARY WATERS (MINNESOTA)
JOIN SCOUTING
“With more than 130 Merit Badges—from Archery and Art to Welding and Wilderness Survival—Scouting is the ultimate form of learning by doing. Boy Scouts explore their interests and improve their skills while working toward Scouting’s highest rank: Eagle. By first imagining, planning then doing their own service projects, Boy Scouts learn the value of hard work, and experience the thrill of seeing it pay off. Add in outdoor adventures, hiking and camping, and Scouting gives boys all the experience they need to become men.”
